General Meet Information
Transportation WILL NOT be provided for this meet.
This is the first time in a while that Raleigh Parks and Rec has offered this meet. In the past it has been a low key fun meet to attend. They are having a circus theme this year and will have a popcorn machine, photo booth, games and the facility will be decorated accordingly. They are asking us to dress in circus theme attire as they will be having an athlete parade to start the meet.
Swimmers will be awarded 1st-8th place ribbons which will be sent home with the coach and be awarded at the start of the next practice.
See What to Bring to a Swim Meet for more information on what the athlete should pack for a swim meet. The athlete should bring items to keep them occupied during downtime. It is important the athlete be in charge of the items that they bring.
Lunch will be provided for the athletes and coaches and they have indicated that there may be food trucks outside. I will have snacks, water and Gatorade for the athletes, but I recommend bringing a water bottle and their favorite snacks.

The meet is scheduled to start at 8:00am and run until 4:00pm. More information will be provided as it is made available.
