Day Three – USA Games

Although today wasn’t a swim day for Sabria, it was certainly a CEREMONY DAY! Sabria was awarded her Silver medal for capturing second place at this year’s Special Olympics USA Games. She received her medal in front of a great house at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the campus of the University of Minnesota.

We wish we were there to celebrate with Sabria, but we continue to send her and Team SONC the best of luck for tomorrow’s finals in the 4x50y Freestyle Relay, and the preliminaries of the 50y Backstroke. Remember to tune in to ESPN+ to catch the coverage beginning at 10:00AM.

Day Two – USA Games

Sabria competed in the preliminaries of the 25y Backstroke, where she placed in third unofficially, and the 4x50y Freestyle Relay today. You can see Sabria’s 25y Backstroke in the video below, provided by Coach Chris.

We are so proud of Sabria! It’s been an amazing day, all around!!!
